And I am getting 24 mpg on a Mopar lift and 37's...

Is this a result of the tune? that's nuts. I cannot go into detail about the crimes I would commit for that. And I am getting 24 mpg on a Mopar lift and 37's...
I was getting low-mid 20's but got the lift and the 37's installed after a week. With the lift I was getting 21.5 mpg with the tires at 30 psi. might go a little lower. I installed the tune last week and have been getting 24 mpg since which includes a little bit of hooning off of traffic lights. All of the car nuts at the dealership wanted a ride.3.6 MT JLUR owner following along because this is fascinating, and you know.. Science.

Haven't had it off road yet. Looking forward to the next meet. The nice thing with GDE is the tune is 49 state emissions compliant. I was looking at getting a second PCM so I did not have to have any down time. You have to send the PCM to them to get it flashed but I sent it out on a Tuesday and got it back two days later. Another consideration is any warranty claims. With the tune they send you a box to tune the transmission and with a second PCM it would be very easy to revert to stock if there are any issues. PCM is supposed to be here in about three weeks.Have you had it off road? How does it do on the trail with the new tune?
Finally, stupid disclaimer: I know next to nothing about diesels, tuning, and emissions: Why the 2nd PCM? Is that to stay emissions "compliant"?
I like the way you think. Definitely considering the GDE tune sometime after I receive my JLURDAnother consideration is any warranty claims. No regear. The tune includes a remap of the throttle and a revised transmission tune.Is this with stock gearing and do you also have a throttle controller thing?
Have you done a hand computation of your mpg? I know the tune on my Power stroke diesel makes my onboard mpg calculator look like a higher mpg is achieved than reality?MPG since the tune install and 0-60 launch at 2000 rpm on 37’s with a Mopar lift.
I sort of do it in my head when I fill up and It's close. I reset the tire size with the Tazer and checked it against the GPS speedometer on the phone and it's spot on.Have you done a hand computation of your mpg? The Tazer is permanently installed with a bypass cable. The dealer can't get into my Jeep through the OBD unless I manually disconnect it. If there is an update to the PCM, I will contact GDE. I am positive that they will have an answer. Also, how is a pcm factory "update" handled once the GDE reflash is on your Jeep? Such as the recent Y81 DEF recommended reflash?
I'm very interested in the GDE tune. Seems like the way to go.
Since I posted this, GDE said that with the discontinuance of the Ecodiesel the software team has been disbanded so there will not be a Y91 update for the '23.The Tazer is permanently installed with a bypass cable. Yikes but i figured this would be the case. Are you still enjoying your CDE tune? No regrets?I never did get another PCM. Not sure if this applied to us but I would have to expect that it does:
