You're going to want to look into tire width and wheel offset. These are the two items that determine how far out from the vehicle the tires sit. The 37" will impact how tall the tire is but not how far out it sits from the side.

Personally, my 37s are very wide tires at 13.5". With my tire and wheel setup, my tires sit ~1" outside my fenders, from memory. Yes, it causes more mud spray and rocks. I combat this with a side step that sticks out far enough to prevent a lot of the stuff that gets kicked up. And also 3M protective film on my door hinges from RedRocket here on the forum.
This site and others may help you with your decision

Could you post a photo of the instructions page with the P/Ns or photos of the P/N tags on the rear coil springs? I have the Mopar 2” springs paired with Falcon SP2 2.1 shocks in my Gladiator and we absolutely love the ride. I’m thinking about doing the same in my wife’s 4xe.

So I finally managed to get her back to the shop. They are putting it up on a lift now, so we’ll see. Unclear at this point if its an install issue or if I actually received the lift kit that was recalled. More to come in a little bit...

Hey Sean, your ride looks great! Do you know what the dimensions are on your wheels? I'm mostly wondering what the width and the offset/backspacing are if you remember them.

Also, any update yet on the spring issue? I wonder if it's possible that it wasn't the "older" version of the Mopar lift, but the updated version, only with a solo defective spring...
Either way, hope they get it all figured out for you today sir!

Well, I’m home from the dealer. Not sure things are resolved, but here is what I know...

First, they said definitively there has NOT been a recall on the Mopar lift. There is and only has been a single part number for the Mopar 2” lift for the 4XE. Not sure if anyone has any knowledge of something different - I can’t find a formal recall online.

Second, they pulled the front apart. Cracked open a new lift kit and installed a brand new set of front springs. These springs are loaded different left and right - confirmed that placement was appropriate. A front end specialist, not the tech that installed this lift, is the one doing this work. He noticed the spring perch / bases were swapped - appeared to be the same, but the were backwards - so they straightened that out moving the left to the right and right to the left. They then let it settle for a bit - all appeared to be ok. Maybe a slight bow but was hard to see - need to take an updated picture to tell...

So she’s home - charging a couple blocks away from me. After I pull it off the charger, I’ll take a couple photos of the left and right sides. I will say that I tried to replicate what I heard - the sway bar disconnect smacking the springs - no noise for now so I’m optimistic.

Good news is they retorqued the whole lift, so green light to hit the dirt assuming this spring situation is resolved. More to come...

Every spring has it`s own position on a Jeep. if you look up OEM Mopar springs you will lose count on how many there are of them but yet with the aftermarket the 2 front springs used to be the same and the rear also, maybe this has changed??

Same with the spring isolators that sit in the lower front axle. Some guys are so quick to think that everything is the same but as you found out that`s not always the case.

Thank you very much!! Here are the wheel / tire details: Black Rhino Arsenal Wheel - 18"X9.5" - Bolt Pattern 5X5" - Backspacing 4.5" - Offset -18 - Textured Matte Black, Nitto 37x13.5x18 Ridge Grappler

I was concerned with them being too far out - I don‘t like way kicked out wheels. Super happy with the offset. Little bit out of the fender, but not obnoxious.

Looks like so far we’ve resolved my driver side bowing only to gain passenger side bowing.....

Is it just the viewing angle, or is it truly ~ 1/8" clearance between shock and spring?

Also, if you don't mind my asking, how much did the dealership charge for your install? I just ordered this kit and was quoted 8-10 hours of labor which seemed a bit much.

Anymore than 5 hours would be excessive IMO

My previous JLU took 7 hours but that was lift, wheels/tires, step and reinforced tailgate.

Any more than 5 hours labor, they are taking your money from you.

I have installed Mopar kit`s at least a 2 dozen times and 5 hours is plenty of time, long arm kits where you need to pay attention to measurements definitely will take more time

Yes - that’s the bowing issue I’m raising here. If you look earlier in the thread, the spring was bowing forward, hitting the swaybar disconnects. Now, after the replacement springs and adjustment of spring perches, now it’s bowing backward into the shock. This is the problem...

As for labor, I paid 5.2 hrs for the lift itself. Here’s my build sheet... You’ll see not only the labor for the lift, but also the other stuff I had done.

Sounds to me that spring pad switched to that side is the culprit
