Very first thing I do is hit a tint shop. Usually before I even get the new vehicle home.
25% matches the rear factory tint perfectly, but I opted for 20% to give just a smidgen more UV protection during summer.
As far as visibility goes, you can always roll the window down with a press of a button.

If the vehicle has factory tint, but not on the front windows, I like to match it all around. Looks good and is consistent. Whether or not you add a brow tint across the windshield is personal preference, but I always do. Helps a lot when heading into the sun.
