I'm a new 2018 JL Unlimited owner. It's stock with 17" rims & 31s on it. I'd like to lift it 2-2 1/2" & put 18" rims & 33s on it. My fear is it'll make it a rougher ride, top heavy or decline MPGs. Should I stay with 17s & put 33s along with a lift? Does anyone have advice/experience on this?

If you're not doing any rock crawling (or anything else you'd need ground clearance) and it's a daily driver: I'd go with 33s and a +/-2" lift. Rubicon takeoffs would work (wheels/tires/suspension).

I’d go w 33’s (load C rating), 2” lift and 17” wheels.
