I can only assume that the mid-Jan shutdown is to tool up for the 3.6 BSG. The PHEV JL is a solid year away, so I assume @JlEngineline was talking about the mild hybrid (i.e. BSG).

Actually we're all set up for the 3.6 BSG. There is very little difference between 3.6 and 3.6BSG. I guess contractors are coming in to do some work so we are capable of running the hybrid. And they can't do what needs to be done if we're running production. I don't think we will actually run the hybrids until after the 3 week shutdown in may

I have no idea. Everyone that I have talked to have no idea when we will start building them. What I find funny is, the workers are always the last to know. I find out more about the Jeep from these forums then I do from management.

Looks like July will start production on 2020. Any idea when dealers will start accepting factory orders?

OP, are you 3 crew, 4x10? Most assembly plants went to that in 2011-12. (I haven't been there since then, so I don't know if that stuck or not, nor if some plants never switched to it.)
