TJ vs JL, and I been on both Sides.

My kids were raised in this TJ wheeling with family! They are now all grown up, and I still had this old TJ I loved to death with so many memories. Floors rusting, wheel wobble, and all that stuff that comes from a old TJ when wheeled hard! I wanted new, but sentimental value hurt me!

What did I do? I gave it to my 25yr old daughter for her Birthday! Her family worked on suspension and had some stuff done. Here is the result. Such a amazing time I will never forget! Generations having fun!

Very cool! I am about to purchase a 2001 TJ for my daughter, pending an inspection, for her first vehicle.

Love it. Miss my old 99 TJ . It's nice to see the comparison. Didn't realize just how much bigger the JL is compared to it. I loved the Tan/Green Sahara seats too.

I still miss my TJ sometimes. The JL is a better car in everyway but it has less charm.

Very Cool indeed! My oldest daughter got a '03 TJ and my youngest got a '04 LJ for their first vehicles.

My 1999 TJ...had it for 16 years:

I would have kept it but limited parking space and my lack of mechanical skills for the pending upkeep made it hard to justify keeping it.
