My 392 just came in. I'm supposed to pick it up tonight or tomorrow morning. Dealer sent me photos--it has K02's with white lettering. I don't recall specifying a white/black choice. I'm debating asking dealer to swap them around to black before I pick up.

I know that it's personal preference, but wanted to see if there was any significant preference out there. What do you all prefer?

Just don't let them talk you into revising the tires so that the white letters are inside. You can still see the white letters at an angle on Jeeps. If you are like me, it will drive you nuts.

So, I should ask them to swap on black-letter KO2's? I don't want the Falkens.

I just had new tires installed 2 weeks ago. I asked for the black wall side out. Doesn't bother me one bit that the white letters are on the inside. I never notice/pay attention to that.

Why? How often will you realistically be looking at the inner side of the wheels and tires? Just ask them to switch to the black wall side out.

I love the white letters...forgot to specify on my order and when I tried to switch it was too late. I’d switch with you IF my 392 had actually arrived and you were in Mass. I will probably swap into bigger tires right away and am bummed there aren’t any/many big tires with white letters (except K02s).

Thanks for the advice. I haven't had K02's. T

They swapped them to the black side. They wanted to charge me $155 for the labor!! I "explained" that charging me was not reasonable.

I like white tires out, but to me it is a more classic look. So red jeep with tan top and KC Lights? Put OWL tires on it.

i don’t put the 392 in that category.

Black for me. I really don't like any of the decals, tire letters and other kinds of embellishments which scream look at me.

Interesting that you say that. We considered a 4xe (actually had/have one on order) and when my wife saw the 392, she preferred its more subtle treatment. I agree. I think it gives the 392 a bit of a "higher-end" look (to go with it's higher-end price).
