My 2023 JLU came with new tires, so I've waited to replace them. I am starting the look.
I'm sitting on 255/70R18, and intend to remain there or go 265/70R18. Oddly, the prices for the same tires seems to be lower at 265... Aside from the normal BFG KO3 and Wrangler Duratrac which I always see, I hear Falken, Yokohama, Nitto and Toyo are also good. To be open, I put Toyo Open Country A/T III on the wife's jeep by recommendation.
So I guess I'm just looking for some real world opinion. I do moderate to light off-road, no rock crawling. At best I am a 30-40% off-road driver. I want 3 peak, and e/d for load range depending on tire. Lastly, apart for some speed and MPG difference, anything I need to be aware of going with 265?
