This is the first 1500 miles that I owned my jeep. It was roughly 1/3 city, 2/3 highway completely stock with hardtop and doors.

Here is mine again after a week of daily driving. Trip A is over ~2,000 miles, and trip B is over ~400 miles. The average is pretty comparable.

I forgot to take a snapshot....and right after my wife (who drives like a maniac, went for a drive). LOL.

18.5 average at 3000 miles.
with 70% Suburban and 30% highway driving.
Lots of waiting while the jeeps running to pick up kid from school, etc.
I typically don't drive and get good mileage, my 80% highway Accord 4cyl only got around 24mpg.
So I'm not complaining, I didn't buy the Jeep for good gas mileage.

21 JLUR
2.0L engine with 3K miles running premium in the summer.
Stock 17" rims and 33" tires
8 speed auto trans
4:10 gears
Hard Top and steel bumpers in the Houston heat

Just returned from a trip, 3,354 miles round trip to Arizona to Minnesota. My Jeep had 716 miles on it when I left home. I drove a mixture of some Interstates, but mostly 2-lane State and U.S. highways. These were mostly rural 65 mph speed limit roads, but also included winding Colorado mountain roads. I got 22.3 mpg cummulative average for the entire trip. This is the actual fuel mileage, as manually calculated. NOTE: My vehicle's "Fuel Economy" trip computer display reads way higher than the true mileage.

Figured I'd bump this up since I took a pic after our return home from VT yesterday. This is my wife's bone-stock '18 JLU Sport S, 3.6/8-speed on 245/75 Goodyear A/Ts, loaded with 4 people, a cooler, and luggage for a long weekend. The computer was off by less than 1 mpg on the way up (showed 22.6 mpg), actual calculated MPG was 22.0, but that was going up into the mountains and driving around up there for two days.

The return trip is mostly downhill, so MPG improves slightly. I was cruising mostly around 74-77 mph, basically keeping with the flow of traffic. The mileage is slightly better if I keep the speed under 70 mph, but then you are impeding the flow of traffic on the Thruway.
