Are these JL specific? Where did you order from?

Do you have to cut the mounting bracket on the passenger side?

No cutting. These mounts are designed to work with the JL. Here's the instructions. Nowhere does it say to take a torch or saw to your JL body :)

Thanks for the quick reply. Someone misinformed me then about cutting the passenger side axel mount.

Ordered. Found them for $150 on northridge4x4 after club discount went with the 2.5-6” for the 2” mopar. Let’s hope all goes well.

Just read the instructions. Looks like it does require cutting on the front Axle:

Is that not the case?

Damn, looks like you're right. The guy that installed mine said he didn't need to do any cutting....this is a bit...disappointing.

Still looks like a great kit though. Really as long as a person always disconnects when when the extra range is needed, there shouldn't be undue stress on the track bar bracket.

Well that’s unfortunate. Guess I need to take it to a shop now

To cut off the bracket I was able to get a reciprocating saw into the right spot with the wheel off.

Yes, 1 cut on the passenger side. none on the driver side. actually a really easy install. We used a cutting wheel. Not hard at all. I did them in a buddies garage in about 2 hours start to finish, including unloading groceries from his wife's car lol.

When ordering, it gave an option for two different securing methods for when disconnected. However, from the looks of the pic, the included bracket is sufficient to keep out of the way once dc'd? Anyone know of this? Thanks
