I was not asking anyone to do anything for me, as our Jeep is not experiencing this issue. What I was trying to do, is suggest a way that someone could prove or disprove the prevalent hypothesis that this could be caused by the higher front fenders. Reactions like yours are the reasons why forums no longer provide the value they used to.
Actually I also thought it was a great idea if someone had a plan to pull the inner liners to do a mod or whatever. Mine is a 2019 JLUR and does have this thrumming issue but I am not planning any mods at all this year. So for me it would not be necessary to pull it all apart for only the reason to test this theory and that's just not practical for me. I have toyed with the idea of taping or tying them somehow to avoid the need to pull it all apart and see if that makes any changes but no holes are available to tie off from without drilling. Crazy how the liners are paper thin, the thinnest ones I have ever seen on any vehicle. Great thread we have going here to help us all in need figure this issue out. I have even put the jeep in neutral at the different thrumming speeds and it is still there.
Merry XMas to you all. Mike

So after installing my lift, wheels and tires the noise is gone.

So do you feel it was the tires, rims, lift? Did you change the inmer fenders at all? Replace, cut to mod for shocks, etc?

Did you factor in the fact that if you changed to bigger tires, the speed at which the problem occured may have simply changed?

Could be but I haven't picked it up at higher speeds though. Will know for sure once I re-gear and get the RPMs closer to stock in all gears.

Not sure honestly, haven't done anything to the fenders yet.

Well, we just drove my 2019 JLUR from Long Island, NY for New Years with friends up to Boston, Massachusetts. 1st long drive but this dam thrumming from around 62mph - 68mph was definitely annoying for 5.5 hours. Then home as well. Hope someone figures this issue out soon. Otherwise my jeep runs awesome. I am only at around 1,500 miles now and did the 1st oil change at 1,107 miles just to be safe as it wears in. Finally got him dirty. Been hiding in the garage since July, lol

Sure its not the ANC system? I have a grand Cherokee that I'd assume the ANC is similar and it works terrible. Constant droning thrum around 45mph beats your ear drums. Just like if a window is cracked open a bit. System is terrible IMO I'm going to try and defeat it. I'd rather just have whatever noise its trying to cancel.

Hi All, new member here. I found the forum researching this issue. I have a 2020 Rubicon 2dr with this issue. I was thinking it was a tire out of balance but looking through the thread I see that is not likely. :(
Jeep are you paying attention to the number of vehicles with this thrumming???

I too have the same problem, 2020 Rubicon Unlimited, 2.0l, 1800 miles and completely stock. The thumming comes on at 63mph exactly.

Exact same thing. Thought I was nuts. 2020 Rubicon Unlimited, 2.0l, 3000 miles and completely stock. The thrumming comes on at 63mph, lightens up around 68mph, then back in full force until 75mph. After 75 it seems fine, but in the 63 to 74 its damn annoying. You can feel the vibration in your seat as well.

That is a possibility. I had my fender liners out while I was putting in OEM LED headlights and DRLā€™s and the thrumming wasnā€™t noticeable on a one hour drive. I put the fender liners back in when done and the thrumming is noticeable again. I would have to remove them again to be certain, but I remember when driving I was surprised that I couldnā€™t hear the thrumming when the liners were out.
An interesting data point is you have metal bumpers and I have plastic bumpers and still have the same issue. You removed the front fender liners, correct?
