Thanks for your interest in Threedom key lock caps for the JL/JT.

Threedom key lock caps press fit on. They attach very securely. They will not fall off in the car wash, etc..

The caps are made of Nylon PA12 - An Engineering Grade Material.

Look the caps over closely and you will see in the design of the caps, we/ve incorporated a "fingernail ring".

This fingernail ring makes getting the caps off a lot easier... just place your fingernail or a small plastic pry tool, etc. just under the fingernail ring and pull firmly.

So they snap around the outside of the keylock. Got it. Was concerned they inserted into the lock hole itself.
