I don't think it is the same trail. If you take the top of the world road, it will turn into the Rose Garden and then into Onion Creek. The Big down hill to Onion Creek is where this pic was taken. My wife has some more pics I will post them up.

So here are random drone pics that I took. I flew the drone at Black Bear and Ophir pass. I should have flown it more, but it always felt on the other days that I was running out of time as we kept getting back to camp after dark and I am new to the drone thing.

And I got five of the six badges yesterday (Thursday). That means that Jeep got me the badges that I submitted for in under four working days. I did not submit the Top of the World until Tuesday,

I submitted the five badges that I got on Saturday, and they are here on Thursday....Is this a record?

You can stick them on your Jeep. or some hang them like a dog tag or make a display with them. They are a factory Jeep emblem. They also come with a letter congratulating you for doing the trail.

What drone are you flying?
I bought the Mavic Air withe the fly more kit. basicly three batteries, and extra props.

This is a youtube vid about the drone.

It was super easy to fly. I was up and flying it in beginer mode in 5 minutes. The biggest thing I found was to watch the screen,,,,NOT the drone. Flying by watching the screen is more like playing a video game and made the process very easy. When I got home, I bumped up the setting so that the drone will fly at about 40 mph instead of the 12 mph that you saw in my videos. So my next vids should be better and a little more exciting.

I am practicing with the drone. I had many thing that the drone was capable of doing that I was not experienced enough with to try. It would have been cool to put the drone out a 100 yards or so in the valley and have it follow us down the switchbacks at Black Bear or when crossing across some of the mountain sides like on Ophir Pass.

We still had one day left to wheel before getting my wife and friend back to the Denver Airport on Monday. We decided to break down camp at 6 am on Sunday and head to Moab to do top of the world. The distance from Ouray to Denver vs Moab to Denver was about nine miles. So off we went.

I show you this so that others will know that the Top of the World Road is not the Top of the World trail. The Top of the world trail is about five miles behind us and we are headed the wrong way. This is why we did the Rose Garden and Onion Creek.

The Rose Garden and Onion Creek was rough. I ended up having to use my winch to pull myself off a ledge.

After going three hours out of our way, we are headed in the right direction. This sign should be moved out so you can see it while on the road.
