I ordered my JLUR last week, going with black exterior. I'm getting a 2" lift from the dealer when it arrives and have begun shopping for wheels and tires. This is the set up that I'm planning on running. 18x9.5 Vision Raptors wrapped in 37X13.5R18 Toyo Open Country R/T's. From what I've read I think this will as long as I'm not flexing like crazy. The wheels have 4.75" of backspace, but does anyone know if I'll also need to run spacers? Also considering Nitto Ridge Grapplers in the same size. I'd love opinions from people on a preference.

Thanks!

You might need more than a 2 inch lift to run those tires, unless you don't plan on wheeling it. Also, why 13.5 instead of 12.5?

Honestly, I just like the look of the wider tires. I won’t wheel it heavily and spend most of my time on the road. Do you think the fit issue will be related to height, width or both?

Both, better check your backspacing. I am going to run 37's, but plan to run at least a 3 inch lift. Plus remember there will be even more weight to deal with with a 13.5 inch wide tire. Make sure you truss your axles and add C gussets.

Thanks, I have a little while to get this all sorted out since the new Jeep won’t be here for about 8 weeks. Does anyone make spacers for the JL yet? I’ve got them on my JKU now, but they won’t fit due to the change in the wheel studs, is that right?

I believe that is correct. What trim did you get? If you got a Rubi, try and get wheels that won't need spacers.

It is indeed a Rubi. Any idea what ppl are running for backspacing with 12.5 wide tires?

With The 37’s you will need 3.25” Backspacing. You may get by with 3.5.

When you say “need,” you mean for full flex with the way bar disconnected, correct?

. Was wrong. I saw a post from JRC that shows pics. I’m still think in JKU mode. Sorry
