The very first thing I did on day 2 of owning it, was take the end caps off.

Day 10 I added the winch.

I still keep my endcaps on because it reduces the chance of rollover in a partial front collision.

I removed my caps and like the look. I also added the Warn stinger and a winch to mine.

Track is the outside width of the tires.

It is not. It is the distance between the centerline of the tire/wheel. The factory Rubicon and Rubicon XR full width steel bumpers, cover to roughly a bit past the centerline, but no to the outside edge of the tire, exactly because of these regulations.

They should all come with bobbed fenders from the factory that way. Just looks so much better, imo.

Full width was very short lived. A few days at full lenght and I was back stubby style.

Just cant get used to full lenght. Looks much better to me stubbied with the warn hoop and driving lights.

I have a 2023 Rubicon Unlimited XR on order. It just got assigned a VIN number and I hope to have it in about a month. I ordered the steel bumper group and as soon as I get it the ends are coming off the front bumper. Just my take on it. Thanks.
