Hi all,
Many of you have private messaged me. If your JL is exhibiting loose steering and FCA/Jeep and your dealer is dragging the process out with no resolution you owe it to yourself to click on the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) link below, and file a case.

It only takes 3-4 minutes. Very easy.

I filed a case/complaint on September 30. I haven’t heard anything, but don’t know what to expect. At least it’s a piece of information for any investigation.

Filed in mid/late September. I didn’t hear back from them yet.

I've already filed a steering complaint back in mid September however haven't heard anything from it yet. How long does NHTSA take to start communicating status updates?

NHSTA ODI Mr Daniel contacted me regarding my bad frame welds.

Here is a Picture of my Lower Control Arm Bracket To Frame Weld on the Driver Rear corner of the Jeep.

JEEPS been at dealer for two days already. DEALER sent photos to FCA.

FCA said welds there are bad.

Dealer said FCA is sending a Welding repair specialist.

This is not the only bad weld. This is what I could find without putting the jeep on a lift and fully investigating with a trained eye.

I found this myself after studying what bad frame welds are supposed to look like according to FCA star publication regarding bad frame welds.

My other issues include,
Wandering wheel
Paint cracks in flex joint between rear quarter panel and tailgate panels
Leaking roof front passenger door.

Earlier issues that were already fixed.
Radiator leak and overheat 200+
ESS battery dead at delivery.

I don't understand why FCA isn't willing to replace and just would rather keep trying to fix a Lemon.

Does FCA want to wait for someone to die before they do something?
