Maybe you pulled the tab and pitched it??
We always put it back in the can, had a few occurrences where it tried to sneak back out too lol.

I even remember when you had to use a can opener on a can of soda/beer, these youngsters just don't know how rough times were back then :)

Damn, guess I am old, I remember that commercial :(
Yea- the commercial, 25c mugs of Hamms drought , patriotx grandpa’s “church key”, and my CJ5 was an upgrade from a 3A. I feel like shouting “get off my lawn” except it’s brown due to the drought-water off. 😕👨‍🦳

I remember that commercial, so I guess I am old. I also meet a guy years ago that lived where they made that beer and he used to joke about pissing in the river all the time. LOL.

I have two Newfoundland's that often get mistaken for bears...would that work?

😎
As long as there aren't bows on their heads, and their nails aren't painted.

Ok kids, but do you remember these fun-to-open little buggers?

Jeep Wrangler JL This is so many kinds of awesome IMG_0370[1].JPG
Yep, same here. I remember those. But, probably shouldn't say so, as back then "taking Coors east of the Mississippi River is bootlegging son." To quote "the movie".

IIRC those didn't stay ion the market too long, too many cut fingers, especially after drinking too many of them :(

Yeah, I don't think they did last long. But, I do remember using a can opener to punch a second hole in the pop top cans so you could drink the beverage inside quicker. Like the 2 holes in that can.
Still, that's an awesome commercial.

I was in high school in the 70's & we drank Hams, PBR, Old Milwaukee, Schlitz, Strohs, and whatever else was less expensive. We kept the pull tabs on a finger so we would show off how many we drank. We thought we were the shit! Ha

Did people really put the tabs inside the full can after opening?

I served with guys from the South, who were fond of saying that "the movie" was actually a documentary in their eyes. Who knew how right they were, lol.

The boys are thirsty in Atlanta
And there's beer in Texarkana
And we'll bring it back no matter what it takes

Yes we did :) There were a lot of things we did back then that were head scratchers lol.
What the hell were seat belts, nothing wrong w/ driving cross country w/ the windows all the way up while smoking packs of cigs, 10 people in the bed of a pickup rolling down the hwy at 70, etc etc lol.
