So they need to make the suspension parts heavier on the stock JL for the 95% of people that will never utilize that much ruggedness which will lead to no more Wranglers because they will not meet CAFE standards or meet the majority of driver's expectations? Wrangler is causing FCA problems because of its success and they need higher mpg or there won't be anymore of them. And they need the mall crowd to sell enough of them to make the volume high enough for profit. A lot of gives and takes go into how a vehicle is designed. So complaining about crappy OEM quality will lead you to rock crawling in a Prius. Good luck lifting one of them and putting on 40 inch tires.I agree with Bret, come the std suspension parts are for gas mileage. Glad the beefed up the axles. Not sure about the aluminum c ring/knuckles.
The Rick krawler parts, and Metal cloak parts are way beefier than mopar parts. Mopar sells a 2 inch lift closer to 3 and not enough adjustment in arms to make it work.
