Alright this shows both sides, sort of, phone was balacing on my hat so it was kind of difficult haha. At about 9 seconds when the draglink first starts to move you can almost see it flex a very small amount before the tire moves. As far as steering wheel movement As soon as i move the steering wheel the gearbox will move the pitman arm but theres no actual tire movement for about an inch or 2. Mind you my gearbox is brand new and is way better than my last one. Im thinking the draglink is getting too much flex between the ball joints and the bar its self. I also retorqued everything. Some of them were looser than specs called for.Wow that looks really bad(to me). Can you get video of the other end and do the same thing to get an idea what the tierod on the knuckle is doing?
It doesn’t make a damn bit of sense for anyone thats worked on any form of steering system(especially a frigging dealership with “trained” techs) to say this is normal by any means.
Whats the amount of olay in the steering wheel? 2-3”??
