I've read, maybe incorrectly, that the E-Pro isn't rated as a 4 season travel trailer and yet you referenced heated tanks.

How did it fair for you in the cold? What steps beyond the composting dry toilet did you take to address cold weather usage and what do you like and dislike about the model you own? How did your Lithium (Iron Phosphate?) battery, a chemistry known for not behaving well at accepting charge below freezing, work for you?

Well, all the water lines are inside of the camper. The tanks all have heaters on them. I can even turn them on with my phone via bluetooth.

This is what I can run via my phone for the 15TB

The lithium battery typically will not charge in below freezing weather, but it will still put out power. It warmed up above freezing during the day and my solar did a good job in topping the battery back off. The camper has a soft start 12 volt fridge, all LED lights, and propane heater. It is pretty efficient as far a battery power usage. Now, I have not used it in frigid weather. It dipped got into the high Teens, but I would winterize it if it was getting below zero. Winterizing take about three minutes a less than a gallon of RV antifreeze. It is super easy.

Definitely make sure your Li batteries stay above freezing. If they don't have a BMS (battery management system), then you might want some heated blankets or something to keep them warm enough for charging.

My battery has a BMS. The 200 ah battery can easily run the camper for a week or better. I also have a Jackery that I can use and often do use to make electric drip coffee, the main power usage. Everything we do for power is to ensure we can make coffee. I am not boiling water for 15 minutes to make a pot of coffee. LOL.

I get up a few hours before my wife Carla and often make coffee outside so she can sleep longer.

Coffee and sunrises just go together.

Question - Why not just buy a firearm once you get into Alaska?
or, sell the one you have while you are still in Alaska, or ship it back home.

That would let you explore Canada (sans firearm) on the way home. You can pick up another firearm when you cross back into the USA.

FWIW. If we were doing a trip like this, I could very easily see packing one of my wife's sewing machines.

She has not mentioned it, and I am not saying a word about it. Not one word. Carla is a spaz, and she will do crafting on travel days for hours.

And wow! What a bucket list trip! Depending on schedules and when you are coming through the Seattle area, maybe we can meet up? Are you going out to the Olympic peninsula at all?

This is just one of many trips of a lifetime. We have prioritized travel for 30+ years. I have a four step plan for bears,

1. Avoid close and person contact. Proper food management, and so fourth.
2. Bear spray
3. Run faster than my wife Carla
4. Glock 10mm loaded with 16 rounds of Buffalo Bore 225 hard cast hot loads

We will also be loud and we do have a dog with us. He is a Jacked Russell that is well Jacked.

The process to transport it was not that difficult, we have traveled Canada in the past through some of the better areas out west with the Jeep as we shipped out handguns home in 2022 on our way to Alaska. We will be in bear territory many days hiking and Jeeping in the lower forty eight.

I shoot and would not trust a firearm that I had not put at least 500 rounds through. If I carry it, I am proficient with it. So buying and selling and the hassle is way harder than getting permission to transport it through Canada.
