So this is pretty annoying as I literally just got my Jeep back from the dealership after getting the water pump replaced because it was leaking coolant. Now I’m finding what looks like oil spray that never happened before I took it in. I can’t see where it’s coming from but it leaves a perfect spray line. I wiped it away to see if it comes back and sure enough it comes back every time I drive. Any ideas? I will be taking it back unless it’s something I can fix but have no idea where it’s coming from

Was a thread on this earlier. I think it's the one-way clutch bearing in the alternator pulley was the problem in that case.

I can honestly say I have never seen a water pump leak on a 3.6.

*Update* If you have this issue it is coming from the bearing on the alternator like previously mentioned. The dealership replaced mine under my extended warranty and I no longer have that issue.
