Offensive? Nah, no such thing as it relates to somebody else’s vehicle mods. Folks can bolt or glue on their Jeep whatever they want and it causes me no offense. I may or may not like it. I mostly wouldn’t bother to did it myself. But I have better things to do that take offense at someone else’s mods.
I’m still thinking: “who cares?”

folks can do whatever they want with their Jeep. Causes me no issues. But, it DOES keep Americans employed bolting, painting, and gluing this stuff on Jeeps and, that’s a very good thing.

Not likely owned by a celeb—I loathe celebs because most are genuine turds—but why torture this Jeep? No. I didn’t park next to it out of embarrassment for it. No, this is not Florida or California. This is southern Maryland.

Torture? Seriously? “torture”?

two things:
1) why do you actually care what someone else does to their vehicle? And
2) who made you the arbiter of taste?

personally, I kinda like this look. No, I would not do it to my jeep. But, I wouldn’t bother to stop in some random parking lot and take pictures of someone else’s jeep in an effort to try to denigrate them on the internet so I could make myself feel superior.

After looking at this thread I've determined...

If I could spend a couple 100k's on my Jeep for mods...

It would probably wind up in this thread :CWL:

True. Most of the manufacturing value is there for many brands.

but, as I said, the ‘bolting on’ value keeps Americans employed here. If a “Celebrity” here wants to pay someone to bolt something on their Jeep..... great.... I don’t care what it is.... it could be a pink tutu for all I care........ it keeps an American in a job.

It’s a low bar, but I advanced the thread four more posts in months of inactivity. To each their own.

Frankly what’s really fugly is that someone would spend over $300,000 on a Jeep! That’s beyond belief. Proves the old adage about a fool and his money....
