To each his own, but I hate every last one of these.

14 Celebrities And Their Custom Jeeps
These owners invested serious money into making their custom Jeeps stand out.

Many drivers have moved away from sedans and opted for bigger vehicles such as pickups and SUVs. Several automakers have noticed the trend in the increase of SUV sales and have produced models to ensure that they get their piece of the pie. Jeep is one of the automakers that has been ahead of the curb – they’ve been producing SUVs for decades.

The U.S. automaker has earned a reputation for producing some of the best off-road vehicles. They have ensured that their models contain top of the range off-road capabilities, and the market has noticed. It's not only the off-road capabilities that Jeep has invested effort into, but they have also done a lot of work on the design. Although many Jeeps models have an alluring package, some consumers decided that they wanted a custom one. So, we compiled photos of customized Jeeps that celebs own.

I guess Shaq ain't allowed to have a Jeep without offending you? :giggle:

I agree that most of these look ridiculous, but Tyson Beckford's is one that actually looks usable.

At least his still looks like a Jeep in your picture, but those window wind guard things are straight out of a truck stop convenience store. I’m sure he gets a lot of use out of that obnoxious light bar, too! :CWL:

Look at his wheels in the article’s picture:

Yeah, Shaq’s and maybe one or two others are just not my taste, but the others are abominations.

Edit: You posted some other guy’s Jeep. I stand by being offended by Shaq’s wheels.

I think A-rod’s is the worst of them all:

Yeah I wouldn't go for those wheels, but I've sworn off aftermarket wheels after my experience with the wheels that were on my old Ram 1500. Chipped and pitted and nothing I could do to fix it.

I’ve never gone down that road, myself. I’ve seen some nice pictures of forum members’ wheels, though. I like some of the retro silver ones with big, fat sidewall tires like from the 80’s. Check out this thread for some eye bleach: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/fo...yed-out-show-off-your-non-black-wheels.17181/

When I need new tires I think I’ll at least put the white lettering side out.

I really like the look of @TxJeeper’s posted pic:

What's wrong with Shaq's wheels or his Jeep? I've seen a lot of ugly wheels on this forum, ridiculous lifts, and other mods. You try being his size and find any vehicle that fits.

I like the white letter look too. My next set of tires will have that.

I think they look fine. Some are just a different style of modding than what you’re used to seeing around here.

if you bought one for fun and don’t care about off roaming, I could see sticking 20s on there being ok.

Offensive? Nah, no such thing as it relates to somebody else’s vehicle mods. Folks can bolt or glue on their Jeep whatever they want and it causes me no offense. I may or may not like it. I mostly wouldn’t bother to do it myself. But I have better things to do than take offense at someone else’s mods.

Somewhere on the interwebs a long time ago I came across an article about celebrities driving Wranglers. Lots of JKs in that article.

I didn’t find the celebrities’ Wranglers hideous. I found it really cool that these people who have pockets well, well deeper than mine choose to get from point A to point B in an everyday, somewhat modded Wrangler, just like you and me.

Kevin Hart’s was kind of cool.
