What exactly are the cops supposed to do?Cops aren't doing anything to solve the problem and people are getting fed up with it. Same with cat converters.

I own a Diablo, so will disagree with every sentence you wrote. They are very sound mechanically, starts up like a bull every time.Thing is, that old Lambo probably was a PIA to start. Thhose old italian cars took a bit of love to get them to start when cold. If you want the best theft prevention, get an old air cooled 911 that has Mechanical fuel injection on it. There's a 100% chance you'll never get it started unless you know the trick. With old school German cars (like Italian) they never mark anything and just assume you read the owners manual. Then if you actually got it running (assuming the batteries could hold up on the minute or two of cranking) you'll never figure out how to turn on the heat. Better bring a parka.
You have insurance. Many agencies are dealing with crimes that involve losses not covered. This is not a new issue. I've had stolen vehicles (five total) in my lifetime and nothing has happened except in one case where my insurance got involved. It was three years in a victim program with endless delays, pleas, etc. Not worth it. Have great insurance, take precautions, and enjoy life.Cops aren't doing anything to solve the problem and people are getting fed up with it. Same with cat converters.
Any tutorials or product recommendations to lock the hood with alarm? I see products like this, but nothing on how to engage the alert system. You'd think. Lol. But it doesn't. And the delaers her don't know how to turn it on. I've done it for about 15 jeeps in my local club. And installed hood locks.
I use JScan and change it with that.Any tutorials or product recommendations to lock the hood with alarm? I see products like this, but nothing on how to engage the alert system.

They're not using the OBD port to make keys.Just pull the fuse for the obII power then they cant make a key.
Every time I see "hood alarm," I think of these.Any tutorials or product recommendations to lock the hood with alarm? I see products like this, but nothing on how to engage the alert system.
Go buy an old carb Lambo and then get back with me.I own a Diablo, so will disagree with every sentence you wrote. They are very sound mechanically, starts up like a bull every time.
