Interesting stuff. Would have liked to have seen you do something different than a normal ball joint, if you had included American Iron Ball Joint Delete, that would have been pretty awesome.

I mean, that's what I'm going to be buying!

Now that I think about it, you're probably only reviewing stuff you guys sell. :crying:

EDIT: never mind it looks like you guys already sell them... Why wouldn't you include these in the review then? :headbang:

I’m surprised they didn’t show the price of the rebuild kits. That would help for making an informed decision on which ball joints to buy. Yes, I realize that sounds lazy, as we can look them up ourselves, but isn’t that the point of the video?
@Tech Tim only has so much time in the day. Between beard and makeup, meeting with script writers and producers, turning wrenches, and schmoozing with wenches, it’s a wonder he has time to sleep.

100% agree! Our new 2025 Gladiator Mojave has Cast Iron knuckles. Designed to take the beating of the desert.
The Mojave package's front axle is the wide-track 3rd Generation Dana 44 front with 10mm axletubes, cast iron steering knuckles, 4.10 gears, and an open differential.

I agree . My 2025 Rubicon X has the cast iron knuckles . Taking into account the role they play in the support of the vehicle if they were aluminum I would be replacing them before worrying about the ball joints

Got the Jeep out for a long drive today. Steering now feels precise in a way that don't think it was even when it was brand new and fully stock. Very happy with the outcome.

I did have to play with the tensioner rings a bit. The first time out I was getting sticky steering. But I did exactly as suggested in the installation video and only just snugged them and steering was perfect on the second drive.

Exactly my experience when I changed to both Dynatrac ball joints and Metalcloak tie rod and drag link. Much better than stock, even when brand new and fully stock. Steering is so precise it really makes you wonder why Stellantis doesn't pull their head out of their ass and put better quality steering parts on their Jeeps. Most, if not all, of the complaints about steering would be gone.

Someone in the comments asked. They said they didn't have them in time to include them in the video. I don't see the advantage over Dynatrac and the rebuild kits are more.

Looking good. But what does that case do. They are making auto parts into jewelry lol
It's a nice case but I can't imagine to affected the price more than a few dollars. It certainly made for a nice presentation when I opened the box. No idea what to do with it now though.

We are now Metal Cloak distributors! Whoo-hoo!
Are you going to carry their full line of products? Currently I’m only seeing the ball joints on your website…
