Hi all, just went back to Sunrider for a weekend road trip, and reinstall was super easy. I do have the Mopar grab handles and it looks like the grab handle bracket is not 100% compatible with the Sunrider frame. In the image below, you can see how the Sunrider frame sits up a bit

is that OK? Everything is snug and the Sunrider opens and closes easily

I have had both the Mopar grab handles and the sunrider that way for the last few years. I swap to the hard top in the winter and back to the sunrider during the summer.

I have not had any issues.

@Bestop I just purchased a 2024 Wrangler and I want to purchase a Sunrider for Hardtop but Bestop customer service is telling me that it hasn't been tested with the 2024's yet. I'm able to configure a 2024 Jeep Wrangler with the Sunrider for Hardtop on the Jeep website so why wouldn't be compatible? Can you confirm?

@JeffNJ I checked with Engineering and according to the data they've received, there has not been any changes to the 2024 Wranglers/Gladiators that would impact the fitment of our current JL/JT products, so to answer your question, the tops we make for the 2023's, will fit the 2024's 😎

My wife and Iare looking to get one of these for our 2024 Willys 2 door. We want it as a Christmas gift to each other since we will both be enjoying it. But, I have a question about compatibility with the Spiderweb Shade we currently have installed. Can this be installed with the Spiderweb Shade left in place, or does the shade need to be removed and reinstalled?

I checked the website, and the free home installation isn’t available in our area, even though the map shows 7 authorized installation locations within 20 miles of our house, so looks like I will be doing the install Myself!

Also, will there be any Black Friday sales on the Sunrider for Hardtop this year? I noticed the price just jumped $50 over what it was last Week! Thanks…

If you have the two-piece Spiderweb Shade, then yes, it'll fit just fine. You might have a little trouble accessing the latches in the front, but otherwise no issues whatsoever.

Installation is super easy. If you can, I *would* suggest having a second person to help you lift/position it. It's not particularly heavy, just unwieldy. Please do not pay someone to install this for you. I do it myself in less than 10 minutes.

This is one of my favorite things on my Jeep - it's pricey, but so worth it.

The shade only covers the front seats and we rarely remove the whole top. Since it’s a 2 door, keeping the freedom panels in the Jeep is very awkward and they block almost all visibility out the back window when the back seat is in a usable position. That’s why this looks like the perfect option for us, we can leave the freedom panels at home and still open the front when we want and can quickly close it if parking or weather turns bad.

Did you have to remove the shade to install yours, or cannot be done with the shade in place? Thanks.
