Does anyone know if the Gobi stealth roof rack would work with a soft top, or is it hard top only?

Does anyone know if the Gobi stealth roof rack would work with a soft top, or is it hard top only?

I'm pretty sure works with both. I've seen it mentioned in videos that you can tilt the gobi back to enable taking down the soft top or removing hard top. Seems like a PITA so not something you'd do stopped at a red light.

Noticed that Yakima and Thule both have JL compatible roof racks available. At least for the hardtop since the rack towers use the rain gutters.

Good news for those of us looking to mount a canoe ontop of our JL's.

Do you mean something like this (https://www.quadratec.com/p/lange-originals/power-hoist-top-jeep-wrangler-jl)? If it doesn't interface with a roof rack I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard
