Wonder if the Bronco comes with a "brick" or mini-"brick"

Also I've been looking all the time to purchase a service manual from the tech authority site (since I bought mine in 202) but they are never in stock... EVER!

As previously mentioned the "brick" I have is 645 pages. Perhaps the 370 page download is either a condensed version or has much larger pages.

One would think an owners manual (not a service manual) would be standard & included with all vehicles.

I found the video I had remembered! From the flipping, it does look like a "regular" owner's manual, not something specifically for mechanics

i’d love to have a Factory Service Manual, but even if these weren’t listed as “Out of Stock”, it says they’re for Windows only.

(at the risk of starting a ‘Ginger vs. Mary Ann’ sort of debate,) has anyone gotten these to work with an Operating System other than Windows?

We had an actual shop repair manual for our JKs. they are great for the DIY Guy. Now they are broken down into sections.

You pay hefty for them but they are "Real."

Here's an idea.

I downloaded a 370 page Owner's Manual for my 2020 Rubicon at the Mopar site:

https://www.mopar.com/en-us/my-vehicle/vehicle-information.html?redirect=om

Not sure if that is the "full brick" you are looking for. It is 27MB, too big to share here.
These owner's manuals seem to be a real mystery. The manual for my 2020 Rubicon that I downloaded in February of 2020 is 661 pages long. That's roughly the same number of pages as the printed copy that shipped with the Jeep.

Yeah, I don't get it. I haven't taken the time to see what is different.

This Owner's Manual is 670 pages:
https://www.ownersmanualhub.com/cars/jeep/2020-jeep-wrangler-owners-manual-31394/

Also came across this "User's Guide" at 330 pages:
https://www.carmanualsonline.info/jeep-wrangler-unlimited-2020-owner-handbook-in-english

And I saw others of various length at different websites.

All of the actual service manuals I saw online were listed for $129-$200+ for a USB thumb drive and most said they were out of stock. $129 at Tech Authority, but out of stock:
https://www.techauthority.com/en-us/products/?year=2020&model=932&type=4

These guys have it in stock for a mere $210:
https://www.factoryrepairmanuals.co...tory-service-manual-usb-original-shop-repair/

I did find another link on this forum for an online version of the actual service manual that was subscription based at $20/Month, $60/year, or $129 for three years:

The plot thickens (or at least gets more stupid):

After posting this thread, I called Stellantis for further clarification and instructions on how to order a "brick." The first time I called, the representative had no idea that there is another, more expansive manual for the JL. Based on her lack of knowledge about this and other "Jeep things," I called again and spoke with another representative who seemed to know what I was talking about and said that he would ship the manual out immediately. Not surprisingly, the manual arrived yesterday, and it was the one I already had, although it was 471 pages vs. 479 pages.

It is important to note that both representatives also provided links to the "current" electronic manual, which looked like the color-covered one that came with my JL. However, each of these also had a different number of pages. In addition, the manual that is offered on the Jeep app is different, with 379 pages.

All told, through this experience, I've seen at least six different versions of the manual, none of which are the one I'm seeking. Not only is this a little annoying, but in a lot of industries (including automotive), discrepancies like this are a glaring indication of a manufacturer's poor standardization and management. I can totally understand if these manuals require regular updating, but Stellantis should at least notify their customers as these are published so we can refer to the most up-to-date information.

Keeping this in perspective, I fully realize that this is a very small detail and half of us never even crack the manual (which I can't fathom). However, it is yet another "Jeep Thing" to throw on the already massive pile. Having been a loyal Jeep owner for 30+ years, these ongoing issues are pretty sad and have severely eroded my loyalty to the brand. No doubt I will be looking hard at Ford's and Toyota's offerings the next time around, which might be sooner rather than later. :(:(

Hopefully most of you won't have to contend with much of this stuff during your ownership, so enjoy and happy Jeepin' to all!
