Got the AAL Packout Base mounted on my new platform. My toolbox is now locked in securely and not going anywhere.

I also got my spare tire and tire carrier in and installed that.

jk we were bringing my gf’s ninja 250 to the shop 3 miles away (thank god). But it’s good to know that the weight of the bike doesn’t sag the Metalcloak 2.5 GC suspension down by much if at all to be honest.

As far as long term reviews on the Milestar Patagonias, I like them. After almost 45k miles, it was time to replace the racing slicks lol. Should’ve been sooner but the back orders were a nightmare. The tires themselves are quiet and rides nice. Performance on and off pavement were pretty solid. But when they wear down is when you notice the change. They get loud and the ride gets a little rough. Slowing down to a stop will vibrate anything and everything in the Jeep. But if you rotate them regularly then you can easily get 40-45k out of them.
My drag slicks:

And now I have one tpms that isn’t reading. Gotta try and reset it or see if it’s shot. They’re Mopar tpms from when I first got the new wheels and tires. I’ve had 0 issues until yesterday. The annoying part is that it’s just the one and not the others.

Happy holidays all. I was gifted a new noise from my Jeep today. A clunk coming from the rear driver side. Happens when the suspension is cycled. Mostly when the tire on the way down to droop not so much with the uptravel. Regular driving is fine. Small bumps fine. But slower speeds like when trying to avoid and roll over a pothole, that’s when I hear it. I threw the GoPro down there and from the back is all good. Sway bar links, shocks coils are all tight and good as well as the rear trac bar. The noise seems to be coming from directly under the rear driver wheel well. So I strapped the GoPro on my rock rails and I think I narrowed it down to the rear co tell arms. To preface this, I am still running stock rear control arms upper and lower. The rest of my suspension is metalcloak 2.5”. I have above 54k miles on the clock and was wondering if anyone’s worn stock arms make these clunking noises. I’ll attach a video for sound.

Yes, control arms will clunk when loose connecting bolts or worn bushing……. I’d check torque first….

A quick and short update. The clunk is somehow gone. Not sure how but I’ll take it. Will keep an ear out if it returns.

Ball joints possibly?
This was in the rear driver side. And the video attached shows the clunk coming from the control arms. Which is now mysteriously gone 2 days later.
