Could you hide the stuff in plain sight?

Thinking---something like a Thermos that's Stainless Steel with a wide top. Put it in a cup holder in a door...

Or a diaper bag....

Or...low on the driver's and passenger's doors.

This bag attaches to the back of the passenger's seat...

@2mnycars Her purpose is just somewhere she can lock up her keyfob, wallet, and phone. Whether or not its in plain sight isnt a big deal. But it does need to (combo) lock and not be removable. I will be scouting out the new products at Jeep Beach ... there's always lock boxes that just cable onto a seat bracket or whatnot.

I’ve been waiting on a replacement glovebox for several months because mine was broken into and will no longer close.
My glovebox was also broken into. I realize now it was a mistake to even lock it in the first place. If I hadn't they would have just opened it and seen it just had the manual in there. Now I have an empty hole where the lock was. The thieves used a screwdriver and broke both the glovebox lock and the door lock.

Jeep locks of all kinds are not well made and super easy to break.

Excellent. Let us know what you choose and how it works!

(As a young lad I lived in a boarding house for a year. One of my room mates left in the middle of the day. He took all my clothes....I try not to tempt people to take stuff.)

I've two such lock boxes, of slightly different sizes, that I carried forward from previous vehicles. I couldn't for love or money make them fit satisfactorily under either front seat in the JLU. Too many floorboard lumpy lumps fouled their ability to stay in place, or more importantly, be pulled out for quick access to their contents.

I could easily lash a lock box under the rear seat, but my use case for them centers on their being under a front seat, as they were in the Jeep's predecessors.

Just an FYI.
