Seen them kicking around, only things that would give me pause would be how well it blends in to the OE seats look, and the rather small size of it. Eager to see what y'all think when it shows up!

I guess it keeps people from knowing it's there but what keeps them from just taking the whole headrest? At $489 I think I would want something a little more secure.
The installation method keeps it from being yanked out...

Per 1:37 of the "Installing your headrest" video, it appears that at least one toggle is used to prevent headrest removal after installation.

I'd probably go for it if it wasn't north of $600 for the safe and the matching companion headrest. If they could match the factory headrest, or get the package into the $300-400 range, I'd seriously consider it.

You kind of answer it yourself. Who is going to know it is there unless they know the owner and seen it. Think most of the security is not being seen.

4 bolts and the whole seat is out and can be taken somewhere else to access. Or just a few minutes to hacksaw through the headrest posts. I like the idea but it will only stop a lazy thief.
