First Time Jeeper and just building the JL to get into some rock crawling and learning from my mistakes. Always wanted a jeep but couldnt fit the family of 4 before. With the JL it definitely got roomier to the point where the jeep was a real possibility. Ended up getting rid of my lifted Ram 2500 diesel to pick this up. We went offroading and camping with the truck more and more and noticed that it was just a little unruly on some trails so the jeep met our needs more. Time to learn to downsize our gear since i can't carry as much as i used to
The first thing that i did was pick up a Rough Country Lift Kit / 17" Vision wheels and 37" Patagonia's / Mopar Spare tire reinforcement
Then decided to go have fun at Hollister to get to know the jeep better
This configuration lasted maybe for a month or two before things got changed out.
Our next step was to address self-recovery so we ended up getting a Motobillt Crusher front bumper and Warm Zeon10s
The Flat black was not growing on me and luckily we were able to find a much better color. Rustoleum Flat Iron Grey. I repainted the front bumper and just shoved the license plate under my fairlead.
The times were good and i met lots of new people and took lots of trips to various OHV parks and trails.
We were also able to pick up a sunrider when they were released.
