It’s shame Because it probably the best engine available. Just too expensive for most people. It was... but is discontinued now.
I wish to reaffirm my comment after taking delivery of my 3.6L two days ago. Yes, I know it's a better, more modern engine. But it sounds like a minivan. I want my tractor!Where's the 4.0L I6?
This looks like a job for the 3.0" I want my tractor! "
Let's just bolster the frame and start with 60/80s from the factory and upgraded brakes, it would cost a small fortune but be their most capable wrangler ever.I'm still sticking with my half brained crazy idea of a 3.0D 4xe. It should be feasible, but a heavy sum bitch. It would have gobs of grunt, and would be the most efficient Wrangler ever.

You might want to look under your Jeep and see if someone stole your exhaust...The 2.0 sounds like a tractor.
It's the noisy injectors combined with the almost too low gearing (on a stock Rubicon). Also my experience with tractors has mostly been with low revving inline four cylinders. You might want to look under your Jeep and see if someone stole your exhaust...
That's got to be an Acme product.Mission option: Giant rubber bands.
