Actually, I do this, too. I've got a spot at work with a slight incline, so it works many times. Not a permanent solution, though, but better than nothing.

OP, brilliant solution! Love it!
Put your front driver's tire on a curb. That said, it's a really stupid lack of foresight by Jeep. We shouldn't have to solve this type of problem with hacky junk. This weather stripping idea is pretty solid, but it shouldn't even be an issue...

Has anyone seen a solution that can be used with the soft top? All of these rain channel extensions are only for hard top applications. :(
the easiest DIY solution is one the first page and was made for the soft top.

There was a $2.10 coupon that I had in AliExpress which makes it $7.69 to the door.

@DanW + @Steve JLUR
Thanks. I ordered yesterday, but didn’t do the coupon. Got a notification that it is shipped. We’ll see how long it takes to get here.

Same here but I used Sikaflex

how’s this? I purposely made it slightly higher than the rail. Being black it blends in.

It's been mostly dry in my part of Minnesota almost since I got my Wrangler in 2021. Drought dry.

Until today. Rain, rain, rain is all It's doing.
I don't mind the drips when hopping in the jeep but my wife HATES it.

Didn't realize getting wet was such an issue for her. Maybe the temp being 45° has something to do with it.

I'm one though who isn't going to worry much about it. It is, after all, a Wrangler. Heck, it bucks so much at speed 😳, it should be called a Bronco.

If I lived somewhere like Seattle or New England where fall is usually the rainy 🌧 season, I may think differently. Our luck, after a day of rain we'll be back in a drought again.
