What are the odds that jeep brings these fender flares to market. From the 2022 EJS birdcage concept. possible to speculate? I’d love em. OEM light style, but removable for mega stuff clearance off-road. Fender chopped my last jeep with the AAL kit, it was fine but not sure I wanna do it again. other after market options aren’t my cup of tea, at least not yet. Genright’s are maybe highest on my list, but not sure I want to pull the trigger, I think they got rid of their wide flares and only narrows available now.

about the flares:

“New custom flat-fender flares and wheel liners, designed specifically for larger wheel/tire combinations provide additional clearance. The flat fender flares have integral removable daytime running light (DRL) covers for the off-road enthusiast who may require extra tire clearance for extreme off-road situations. This concept is the first 50-state legal fender flare with OEM DRL and meets 50-state tire coverage requirements.”

With the problems they’re having keeping the regular Rubicon High-Top flares in stock, I don’t expect to see these anytime soon.
Sure would be nice though.

If it is, or is on a concept vehicle at EJS, it will for sure never see production.

Really? I don’t follow concepts close enough to have a sense of follow- through. I remember the 392 surprised everyone when it went from concept to reality…but I don’t think it was an EJS concept if memory serves.

Well they finally released the triple-hoop winch/grille guard from the '21 EJS Orange Peelz concept. Unfortunately, it looks almost nothing like the original part, except at a passing glance.

Jeep is hands down the undefeated and reigning king of cocktease concept vehicles and prototype parts that will never see the light of day.

Near as I can remember and a quick Google search seems to verify this, the 392 “Concept” was introduced in July of 2020. It was not at the April EJS.

There have been several vehicles and a multitude of options “introduced” as or on concept vehicles at EJS over the years that I have seriously wanted to purchase. A grand total of ZERO have made it to production.

I now look at EJS to find out what Jeep WONT produce.

That one had a couple of other nice pieces on it.
I really liked the load cover as the deep V notch in it looks like it will allow the soft top to fully latch into position.
‘While I like the way I have my onboard air system I have to admit this one is very cool also.

They look like modified Bushwackers to me.
