It has my name on it. Same VIN that i have been tracking since January 11th., too. No bait and switch here.
Sorry very hard to believe but happy for you. Just don’t see how koons has the market cornered over all our builds but then again when you order hundreds of wranglers maybe that’s the reason

So I jumped out of the JB freeze and my Jeep was Shipped.... but the adventure does not stop there. Delivery window from 3-1 through 3-5... then updated to 3-4- through 3-8, then updated to 3-6 through 3-9... and today.... 3-9 through 3-13. So I will definitely be getting it next week :headbang:.

I talked to my dealer yesterday and they had no idea why it had not already shown up. So do not get to excited after the JB freeze ends. I know my Jeep will be here sometime... right? Hopefully before the 2019 model year comes out. :please:

@JLWF Dealer Guy, I have indeed received mine, without a soft top. Glad to PM you my VIN and VON if you want to look into it, but I know Koons had at least 3 others who also shipped without soft tops. I was given the choice to wait, take a credit, or have it delivered later when it comes in. I chose Option #3.
Very interesting

When did you originally order your jeep? Shipped with soft top?

Ordered last week of January. My dealer said they requested it be sent without the top but the dealer has not heard anything.. there is really no information.... I know based on this tread that it could be shipped without the top, but not sure.
Jeep Chat tells me that they would not ship it without the top, and the dealer has not heard anything more.

Furthermore the dealer is at a loss right now because based on the ship date they show in the system. So now I wait.

I ordered a dual top Rubicon on 1/25. Went to D1 2/1 and sat there for over a month and was built and went to Inspection on 3/3. Just out of curiosity, how long was the average wait in I before going to JB purgatory? Is there an expected time there before you can assume there's an issue, or is there no sense to any of it, just like the rest of the process?

There seems to be no reason or structure to this. At this point I will just wait until my dealer calls and then I will run down to the bank and pick up the check. I have 100% given up on Jeep Chat. @JeepCares maybe you can answer this better, but at this point I would just wait for your dealer to call you.

I ordered JLUR on Jan 24th, status updated to D1 on Jan 26, Then have been sitting in JB since Feb 26th, what is the average wait time in JB status?
Any feedback appreciated

...still waiting
Hey CYNJL, I have been in JB for almost a month if that helps (or hurts).

Kinda excited for my Jeep...I guess my down payment will be that much more since I will have tax returns by the time it comes in. I just hope that it’s my 2017 tax returns and not my 2018. Ha!;)

If there is a shortage of tops they will build them and make them sit until there is enough tops to fill the back orders and catch up Mine sat in JB for 33 days and just recently went to KZ

Anyone else have theirs go KZ at 12:00am on 3/1/18, just in time for the price increase? I don't think my dealer would hit me with it as I have already signed the all the paperwork, but still. Glad my Jeep is finally being shipped.

I'm tracking it at jeep garage since I couldn't get in this one in time. I knew everybody was getting hung up in JB, mostly for soft top back order and who knows what else. I had seen a couple messages from members who sat in inspection for a month or more and I think at least one was long enough that the build was cancelled and they received another one. Looking at old tracks, I can see some go right through and are at JB within a couple days and then others seem to get stuck in inspection. I guess I was wondering if there's some point where you've been stuck in "I" for so long you can bet you've got a lemon. Or maybe I'm just overthinking it as usual.

I just heard back from FCA. After initially offering to ship my JLUR sans soft top if I wished, they now say
"For your reference, your vehicle was originally being held due to the availability of the soft top. However, we now expect availability of the soft top and plan to ship the soft top with the vehicle as originally planned."

When I asked for an ETA they responded
"Cannot give you a definitive answer but hopefully within the next couple of weeks".

Not sure what to make of this, just thought you might want to know.
