I asked. It is still "our builds." Jeep is just releasing them without the soft tops. We will get them later, or they will credit our buy but the sticker will still say that we got them. It seems they are making an exception to get them off the lot as they are "hundreds" behind on the soft tops.I’m not sure how their dealers are doing this, but kudos to them!
I had a Grand Cherokee Trailhawk built this time last year. The actual window sticker that went on the window had my name on it. I know for sure as I just handed it over to the dealer I ordered my JLUR through. (The bought my Trailhawk outright from me last week, they had a buyer, so did not want to wait for my Rubicon to be delivered.)Based on my experience, only the printed version will have your name on it...
@Smarrtazz I have to admit, I have literally laughed out loud more than once at the .gif’s and other pictures you have added. Keep them coming as they really add a little fun to the wait. (And is keeping me from going and ordering a bunch of stuff I don’t need from Amazon to kill the time.Just to clear things up- no call. Still in JB Purgatory without an escape plan.![]()
JB = Jeep BastardsOk, you got us. We created this “JB” status solely to drive you all nuts. It’s not even real! We sit back and chuckle at all of you daily. JB is only when we want you to sweat it out. We have to pay the Jeep Chat people to do something other than drink our coffee so please keep hitting them up as we laugh while sitting back and dreaming up how we can pass off ZJ status as something real to focus on. Muuuhaahahahaha
I think I found their mascot...Seriously though, WTF can they be doing over there? Is the sloth still in charge?
the mug is perfect!

When that officially comes from Jeep I will believe it.I asked. It is still "our builds." Jeep is just releasing them without the soft tops. It seems they are making an exception to get them off the lot as they are "hundreds" behind on the soft tops.
@ArmyCrawler @PaK1605 How long have you been in JB before you were offered that option?I got the same call this afternoon from Craig at Koons. It is into KZ today or tomorrow as long as I would either:
1) take a credit for the soft top and buy it later
2) keep the soft top on the order and go get it at the dealer when it gets shipped to them
I went with the latter, so here she comes! I was told "several weeks" before the soft top arrives...
If it makes you feel any better, my Grand Cherokee Trailhawk had this exact issue this time last year. My replacement (2nd order) was way faster, but the first one that failed inspection actually made it to the dealership a few weeks before my second order one. It was tough knowing my exact order was on the lot, and I still had to wait. The dealer offers me the one that failed QC, but I figured it was a safer bet not starting off with a vehicle that already had some issue since they could not tell me why it failed.@ArmyCrawler @PaK1605 How long have you been in JB before you were offered that option?
