Just picked up my second manual JLU.

I thought they weren’t selling manuals until the clutch is fixed?
I do love that yellow.

I thought so too. I went to the web page and did a build and it was available. Maybe its only once you go in person they tell ya.

I didn’t think I was going to be able to get one either. The Jeep app shows no recall on the vin so I guess it’s ok?
Could very well be they did the fix at the factory or dealer already

@JeepCares confirmed in the other thread that 21’s are getting the patch at the factory. Ones produced earlier have the recall available. The rest of us have to wait... she estimated another 30 days, so probably end of April.

We know that ‘21s have a gear position sensor and that the update makes gear show on the EVIC. It’ll be interesting to see if the rest of us get that. My guess is no... not that I want it, but it makes me think the algorithm will not be the same if there is no such sensor on our model years.

Whatever. I don’t anticipate ever triggering this new limp mode, anyway.

They are for sale. Nothing wrong with the clutch. If it is set up correctly and you drive it correctly, it will serve you long and well.

Thank you. Was worried at first when I say it online but so glad I went with it when I picked her up

Yellow on the JLUR looks great! I debated yellow vs red when I ordered mine. The yellow is nice with the contrast for the red around the writing. Also, it is much rarer to see.

btw, regarding this thread. I also have a manual trans on my JLUR and my wife's JLUS does as well. I like the control and it's more fun to drive on and off road.

Hey Dan
I think you can tell by reading my posts that I’m scared of blowing up.
I haven’t had any issues with my clutch thankfully. But it still worries me.
