I know a few of you were waiting.

My Jeep was in the body shop for 5 flipping weeks!!!

Anyways, I did a test fit this week. I will replace the fogs with Baja Design Squadron Pro's which I verified will fit. I'm being a little indecisive about a winch.

Garage photos for now. More photos when I finally install the winch and the Baja's, in another week or two.

Which bumper is this? Pics with the winch installed?

Got my Poison Spyder Bruiser and installed last weekend and Warn Zeon 10. Overall I'm happy with it and the install was a snap. Going to put some KC G34's as Fog Lights.

Doesn't look like this one has made the list yet. I had never heard of these guys, but I saw this set-up on a JL parked at my local grocery store and it got me looking at it. The company is called Rage 4th and apparently is a start-up owned by a 3-time KOH winner. Made in the USA, high quality materials, beautiful design and finish work, and lots of cool features including integrated fog light mounts, integrated 20in light bar mount, semi-recessed integrated winch mount and fairlead, integrated ARB twin compressor mount, bull bar, and D-rings set up for recovery and/or flat towing.

Rear bumper is pretty slick looking too and accommodates the factory receiver and wiring, factory proximity sensors, room for a 40" spare tire, and windows for flush mounted back up lights.

I think these look like some pretty sharp bumpers. The styling really appeals to me, the design looks well thought out for large tires and approach/departure angles, and they check all the boxes so far as features go. I am a bit concerned about how much abuse that light bar might take being integrated into the skid, but then again I guess the front skid on my previous Jeep never really took too much damage even traversing the Rubicon and other such trails. Now for the downer... only sold at 4WP, and they retail for just shy of $1000 for the front bumper, just shy of $1000 for the rear bumper, and oh yeah... just shy of $500 if you want the front skid included.

I have decided to pull the trigger on the Pro 76 rear bumper. I've been on the struggle bus for a while finding a bumper that meets all the features I'm looking for. Hauk was in the lead, but I have heard their lead time is crazy. And while I really like the looks of their bumpers, I may grow tired of all the bolts. I like the Rage 4th because it's a clean design, and there are no worries that back up sensors will be impeded by the 37's I'm about to put on. I picked one up at 4WP on sale for $732 and added the recommended RIGID lights to the order. Also found a 10% off code so I'm getting the bumper and 2 lights for just under $1,000. I'll do a full review once I get it and put it on.

I took a gamble and went with it, too. Installed last week and so far very happy with it. When I was looking at bumpers, I emailed Rage 4th through their website with questions about the sensor compatibility. Jason responded immediately (on a weekend!) and was able to answer all of my questions.

Awesome!! Any issues with the sensor installation? Any issues with the install in general?

The more I researched the sensors, the less I wanted to get into the install myself. I’m at novice at wrenching, so I got some help, but the guys said no issues. Worst part was getting the sensors out of the stock plastic bumper. There’s a good write up on that here if you’re also going from the plastic bumper:

Installed Tyger rear bumper - heck of a nice bumper for $319 also compatible with back up sensors

Also, Rage 4th recommended getting sensor bezels and decoupler since the stock plastic doesn’t really have them (but MOPAR steel bumper does).

Here’s what mine looks like.

Front bumper time! Went with Artec with a custom stinger. We are of "stinger people". We also put a nice little "JL" in the gussets:
