most of those 3rd party android head units break very easy and sometimes just by taking them out of the box you break them.

I have the 12 inch OEM screen in my Ram Longhorn and love it! However, without at least a minor dash redesign, the 8.4" OEM or Alpine's 9" touchscreen look much more proportionate with the current JL dash configuration.

Nah, I'll wait for the 20" touchscreen tablet integration for that really comfy driver immersion. I really don't like talking to my passengers, and honestly, can't be bothered to look out the windows when I drive. Someone in another Wrangler might wave at me, and I hate being pressured or obligated to be social, even in a small way.
