This event is always the biggest 💩 show once it gets dark. I hear it’s a good time during the day but don’t hang around after hours!
I was at Hidden Falls Adventure Park this weekend! It would have been tempting to go drive on the beach had I known about it, but now I know to skedaddle once the Sun goes down if I ever do attend one.

Events like this just don't appeal to me whatsoever.

For starters, the whole point of a Jeep is to be able to GET OUT, go where there AREN'T a bunch of people.

Secondly, an event like this (and similar to most of the meetups that I've been to) are just gatherings. There's no opportunity to check out other people's builds, hear others' thoughts on your build, etc. I've been to a couple of meetups where everyone parks their Jeeps and then go inside. WTF is the point of that?

Thirdly, as @Jhawth pointed out, I'd actually consider 100 arrests out of 80K+ people a pretty safe event, tbh.

Meh. Looks more like a typical spring break atmosphere than a Jeep event. 🤷‍♂️

For that many people, the 100 arrests seems low. The cops probably let most people off for minor offenses so they could focus on the real trouble makers.

Because Bolivar is basically just vacation homes, so they have to pull in police from all over the area to try and manage an unofficial event. So, 100 arrests is just an extreme tip of the iceberg of the troublemakers. They also had to airlift 8 people out.
