I have the 3.6 with the automatic. My miles are mainly highway... I am about 7 miles off the interstate, but even the 7 miles are 45 mph with only a couple of stop signs.
My driving is fairly conservative... I drive the speed limit, but I, usually, am not rocketing up to the speed limit.

So far, I only have about 1300 miles, but, so far, I am averaging just over 20 mph.
Now, if my wife put on all of the miles, she would knock about 2 mph off the average.

I've got a totally stock JLR turbo that I use as a daily driver. My first tank home from the dealer was dismal, about 15mpg, but improved once I started putting 91 octane in it. In stop and go traffic, I'm now getting about 19 mpg, and if I actually get to go for 10 minutes without having to come to a stop, it averages 22 mpg or better, so I'm OK with that. Just over 1000 miles on it so far.

2019 Rubicon Unlimited with the 2.0, 1,800 miles in, averaging 19.8 with mixed highway and city.

If you're getting 13.X your JL has a problem...

Somewhat heavy. 75-80 on the highway and some “turbo use” but nothing that I’d expect to impact the mpg this much.
Slow down; you're moving too fast.
Got to make the morning last.

I'm getting 20-26 with my 3.6L and a stick, but I don't go 75-80, either.

I am getting 21.5 ish with the 2.0 and stock. I drive almost exclusively in town. Light foot, keep the fuel economy screen on and watch it, when driving at about 45-50 Mph, I noticed if I let off the gas slightly and hit it again lighter, the MPG skyrockets To like 32-35 and stays there. Around 1500 rpms and it’s very happy.

I have a 2018 JLUR, 2.0 with stock suspension and tires, steel bumpers, and winch(just added less than 100 miles ago)

After 1300 miles, ~600 highway the rest city, I’m averaging 13.4 MPG! (calculated by the Jeep) One of the main reasons I chose the 2.0 was for the fuel economy but this seems like a 3.6L average. No, I didn’t expect the stickered 22-24 but I did expect it to be in the high teens and maybe over 20 on the highway.

What are you averaging? Thanks!
I have driven mine about 1000 miles, the first 500 on the stock 31” tires and the second 500 on 33”. I drive about 50/50 highway/street. Mileage on 31” wheels was average 21 MPG. On 33”, averaging 19 MPG.

Are you using the recommended 91 or higher octane gas? If not that will make a difference. How fast do you drive? My JLUR with the 3.6 gets low 21s on the highway on trips at 65 but drops to the mid 17s at 75mph.

2018 JLUS with 12,000 miles. This is just over 4 tanks. 8 speed auto, 3.6 pentistar. Go over a 1,200 ft. mountain at least twice a day then mixed interstate and city driving. Interstate 75-78 with cruise set most of the time. 87 octane fuel. I'm pretty happy with just over 21 mpg over this latest 1,500 miles.

Have a Sport S with 2.0, have never dropped below 22 mpg. Mostly averaging around 22.4 mpg. Been as high as 25 (but I’m skeptical). Never anything less than 93 octane in the tank and hardly ever break 65 mph.

JLR 2.0, heavy 37x13.5's, moderate driving, stay in the 65-70 range max, have some significant long inclines and declines. Average 17 mpg, about what I expected.

Thanks for all the input everyone!

Ironically enough, my check engine light came on today. Taking it to the dealer tomorrow. Hopefully the light explains the MPG. Based on your comments, something is up with my Jeep.

I have have a stock 18 JLUR have about 9000 miles now and have been putting in 93 octane. I average about 18-19 in the city and 20-22 highway. I noticed after wheeling and airing back up I aired up to 44-48 psi. When I did this I noticed my mpg dropped to 16mpg. Then the last time I went wheeling I aired up to the recommenced 37-38 psi and my mpg improved. So, make sure your tires are at the recommmend pressure?! See if that helps. I was told by the dealership the psi reading on the computer is not accurate so be sure to use a tire gauge.

If I drive like it like I stole it, I get around 14.7 if I drive like I have Miss Daisy I can get 22. With a blend I do around 19.4.

This is with 100% city. My Jeep rarely goes above 55.
