Not sure what everyone's driving habits are, but I'm not seeing an issue with my 2.0.

It doesn't have to be a drag race, but get the vehicle up to speed, and then back off. If you are slow walking your Jeep... your engine is under a higher load and consuming higher amounts of fuel during this longer period of time.

10 seconds of 6 - 10 mpg compared to 20 seconds of 6 - 10 mpg will throw your average in the gutter.

This is what I’m getting with my 2.0T & 4.10s after 35s.

How many miles is that average? If is juts a couple of miles, Drive it more. I know this is driver dependent but 22mpg with 35s… also, here in Michigan the winter fuel blend is not good for MPGs and that could be another factor. Is your Jeep lifted? Winch?

I'm happy that I didn't give in to the hype of better mileage with the 2.0 turbo compared to the 3.6.

Granted I'm in a stock 3.6 eTorque with no lift but with the price of fuel what it is, I'm not planning on changing anything in the near future.

Almost the whole tank 300 ish miles. Previous 2 tanks were similar as well.

No winch (yet). No lift. Front leveled.

Hype? I have both eTorque versions. Stock vs stock, the 2.0 easily pulls off at least 3mpg better. Now that I’m mostly modified I’m down from 27 hwy to 20 at best.

14mpg.
99% of my trips are less than 3 miles round trip. Then, when I do get on the highway it is interrupted by miles and hours of 4-Lo.

I see, most likely the reason is that you have stock Height.

With premium fuel in the 2.0?

The difference in cost between regular and premium around here is .30 to .40 cents per gallon.

Kind of waters down the advantage of the 2.0.

Of course it will but only about 1 mpg in my experience. I want the power and will pay for it, thus getting the 2.0. In test driving, dealers put in 87 so anyone who gages the power experience solely off a test drive, isn’t getting the full experience. More power, better mileage…I like the 2.0 eTorque better than my 3.6 eTorque. They’re both solid engines though.

I haven't noticed any reduction in mileage with regular gas vs. premium.

Are you using the recommended 91 or higher octane gas? If not that will make a difference. How fast do you drive? My JLUR with the 3.6 gets low 21s on the highway on trips at 65 but drops to the mid 17s at 75mph.
Greg, I need to know your secret to these numbers! I have drove hundred of Jeeps over my course here at Randy Marion, and it seems most are showing ( from previous drives) to be in the 13.4 to 16.5 range roughly speaking. I have never seen one get awesome mileage like that but would love to see more of it.

I don't have a secret. I usually drive 5 mph over the speed limit. The attached screenshots are from the fillup app I use to track the MPG. I put a 2" lift and 35x12.5x17 tires on it last August. Still getting around 20 mpg.

Mine has ran in the mid to lower 20’s since new. I do NOT drive for economy, neither do I run at speeds over about 5 above nor hammer it from a stop. I’m running Rubi take off wheels and KO’s (cost me about 1.2 mpg’s), Rockhard Patriot (aluminum) bumpers and a winch. Never seen anything but 87 octane gas. Compared to my previous TJ’s, (16 mpg highway) this things an “economy car”😏
