3k miles, 2.5" + 37" Pats and have settled in right at about 15mph. I have a led foot on the highway and actually get better MPH in the city.

If you're running on flat terrain during highway driving, I don't think your transmission should be searching much between 7th and 8th gear unless you're running very low air pressures and/or you're running into high wind.A few observations:
1. We usually just cruise around town and to a few other local cities between 25 -45 mph and were over 28 mpg
2. Today we did some highway driving. Mileage dropped to 27 mpg. So looks like I am getting worse mileage on the highway than running at 25-45 mpg in the city. Still noticing with the new 33" tires, that the jeep will not cruise in 8th gear. Goes back and forth but mostly in 7th. So still feel the 33" tires will reduce MPG but maybe not as much as I thought!
3. We burn 89 gas and obviously have about as flat as a terrain it gets.
Do you still have the same JLUR? What if anything happened with the mpg?I have a 2018 JLUR, 2.0 with stock suspension and tires, steel bumpers, and winch(just added less than 100 miles ago)
After 1300 miles, ~600 highway the rest city, I’m averaging 13.4 MPG! (calculated by the Jeep) One of the main reasons I chose the 2.0 was for the fuel economy but this seems like a 3.6L average. No, I didn’t expect the stickered 22-24 but I did expect it to be in the high teens and maybe over 20 on the highway.
What are you averaging? Thanks!
Wow, that's low. Stock?Do you still have the same JLUR? What if anything happened with the mpg?
I've got 605 miles on my '21 80th Anniversary. The last fill up was 13.25 mpg calculated (I don't trust going by the dash computer). Mostly local driving. 87 octane. Yes, still in engine break-in phase I guess, but I'm a little concerned. I was doing the varied acceleration thing for engine break-in so maybe that has something to do with it. Curious to see what happens on the next gas stop.
