Had my teraflex 2.5 installed last week.
Does this look right for the bump stops and jounce bumpers? Shop is telling me the jounce stops coming off the bump stops are progressive and are disigned to make contact. To me them see to close.

I have the same setup and they are really close, hasn't been an issue with some mild wheeling, but I think TeraFlex should specify if you use those progressive jounce things with the 2.5 you might go to a lower bump stop, I did the same as you in the front and left .5 inch off there rear since it didn't come with that many, and that has plenty of up flex in back.

Spoke to Teraflex this morning. Was told there is one too many shims in it. I still think that makes it too close. Going to take one out and see. But i agree the instructions to say if you plan to use the progressive bumps then do “X”. Maybe someone from @TeraFlex can jump in and give some insight.

That makes the most sense, further confusing to me though since I am a MOAB and don't have the high flares so the instructions say to add extra for me, oh well, guess we can just run what looks best

How do you like the lift so far. It’s on my short list. Thinking about the Falcon 3.3s.

Rubicons will need 1 of the small spacers for 37" tires and the Sport/Sahara use 3 spacers.

Remember that those jounce bumpers are meant to compress a decent amount (roughly 75% of their size under compression) so even with it touching regularly, it shouldnt translate into the cab for most users (everyone experiences ride quality differently)

@cmmurray77 The ST 2 is a great lift and will handle extra weight in the future really well. It may not be as soft as a Rock Krawler or ICON lift, but the strength of the springs is really impressive. The Falcon 3.3's can be softer than stock or stiffer depending on your preference

In your opinion if I pair it up with Steer Smarts steering components would it still be lacking anything?

Chris, I have the entire steer smarts set up, up front, Tie-Rod, trackbar and draglink. The steering and drivability is amazing. That with the Teraflex ACAs and suspension with 3.3s. I don't think it can get much better.

I had a 2018 with the steering issues - FCA bought it back from me - compared to that one this is night and day.

@DCRubicon is on point with the recommendations.

You would be set for years with that setup
