Agree, it's subjective. I just don't see repeated stiff reviews on here about other shocks like I do these. Ultimately, Teraflex prob wont adjust their valving until sales take a dive. Simply trying to help after reading your wife isnt happy with the stiff ride. Hope you get it dialed in.
Yeah I wonder if they will soften it on future revs. I appreciate the info and it's something I am def going to look into.
On a side note she LOVES my Coopers and how planted she feels in them so we are def pulling the trigger on those. She also loves the KMC 233 which is basically the next gen of the KMC RG Race that I have. That's a big bill to do both tires and wheels... AGAIN so it might just be tires for now and then I'll work the pole after Covid ends to raise more money... lol.

What shocks are you guys running? I have the 3.3 SP2, the softer version of the two. They were a little stiff at first but that went away after a good mountain run and a few full flex sessions.

Thanks Brett. Appreciate your POV. I’ve seen your other posts on this topic, and the story on how you pulled the 3.3s off your wife’s rig. Must have been annoying.

You can understand why I have to take at least some implicit bias into account with your feedback though, due to the fact that you rep competitive brands. Absolutely nothing wrong with that, and you very well could be correct in your assertions, which is something I intend to get to the bottom of. But you can understand why I would have at least an iota if skepticism when it comes to your take, as I would anyone affiliated with/representing a product or service in an online forum.

With that said, I’m going to add Metalcloak to my consideration list and give them a hard look. So for that, I thank you!
I don’t think this is a biased reply. His opinion of Metal Cloak is mirrored to mine and many others. Maybe it’s a bit pricy, but after running one on my JKU for 60k miles and never even thinking about it or dealing with any issues after installing, it sold me for when it’s time to upgrade the JL.

Installed the 3.5” teraflex springs, and Falcon 3.3 shocks a while ago. Love the ride once it’s dialed in, and love the look. 3.5” is a perfect lift height. The purpose for it is to overland eventually.

Any issues with rubbing? I have the same wheels with 315’s, and I’ve noticed teraflex claims wheels with 4.5” of backspacing required.
