Let's assume that I'm stupid and also that I have lost my programmer. Now what? Can the Jeep dealer still connect and program my Jeep if an update is required and my tuner is lost, preventing return to stock (unmarry)?--- .... I'm not sure why anyone would put themselves in such a position or at that matter put the dealership in that position. Would make no sense at all for the JL owner/the programmer user to do this....
.
Yes, they click “restore vehicle configuration” and that’ll wipe out anything the programmer would have written.Let's assume that I'm stupid and also that I have lost my programmer. Now what? I'd prefer an answer rather than an opinion or tangential comment, thanks.
I am really hoping that you're working on this diligently. It's a must-have feature. AutoPark sucks. And if you get time, can you turn off the feature that automatically relocks the doors after 30 seconds if you don't enter the Jeep? That one is freaking annoying too.Perhaps the AutoPark disable only works on some models. I can attest that turning off AutoPark (BCM setting)- In my 3 Rubicons, anyway, does not work. Heck, it doesn’t work on a Grand Cherokee either. Perhaps it works on non-rubi’s? Since it didn’t work, I didn’t include it in the Tazer JL programming. Not until I find a workaround.
Hi, I put a "like" on your reply but wanted to say Thanks !! in person so to speak. My concerns were over possibly locking my Jeep from future factory updates, a concern that is now known to be unfounded but certainly good to know.Yes, they click “restore vehicle configuration” and that’ll wipe out anything the programmer would have written.
I haven’t played with it very much due to weather and my wife driving the Jeep. Last night I updated it and was able to disable autopark. For the small amount of time I tried it, I could back up with the door open. It was going in for cruise control fix today so it is not married right now. I will play around some more this weekend with the other features and see if there are any bugs with my Sport and make sure the autopark disable is still working properly with other features turned on and programmed. Please do. I'm very interested. I got my Tazer JL yesterday and like others, I'm a bit perplexed as to why you can't read DTCs or kill AutoPark. Seems like those features are more important than the fancy stuff and should have been worked out first. There's also no instructions in the box, no documentation on how to update firmware, and the website is pretty user unfriendly if you need help also.
So I played more this morning and didn’t have any issues autobpak not being disabled - forward or reverse. Of course I didn’t try opening my doors at height speed but at speeds below 10mph I could open my door while moving without engaging auto park. I did take some videos with my phone but can’t post them directly to the site so I will have to find another way.I am really hoping that you're working on this diligently. It's a must-have feature. I have the flashcal and haven’t had any issues, it can be unmarried when you take it for service, it won’t void your warranty - I have a Sport so I don’t need all the programming features of the higher trim levels in the Tazer. When/if tuning becomes available the flashcal will be able to be updated to handle canned tunes as well.Recently threw 37s on my JLUR.
Reading through this and other similar threads.
Flashcal, other programmers and dealership flash....all seem similar.
Correct me if I’m wrong but upside to dealership flash would be it’s factory and would alleviate any voids in warranty.
Flashcal/other programmers...more customizable but opens the door to warranty issues.
What am I missing?
Want to pull the trigger on aftermarket or dealer flash/programmer here soon. Speedo’s slightly off, gears float at 6-7-8 and MPGs are likely off as well.
Looking for real world user experiences...recommendations...
pluses/minuses...etc.

Personal preference on which you choose right now the only opeions are Tazer and Superchips
Here are the current features, it also reads and clears DTC codes that may pop up and has a data log program but I haven’t played with that yet. Thanks for the response.
@JJexpI was going to order my Tazer a few minutes ago, but the jl forum discount no longer works. Was the code changed?
