Just got some new tires for my wife's JLUR. I was just wondering what size setting most of y'all ended up with to get the correct speed with your Tazer JL. Trying to get a good starting point. BFG. KO2s 315 70 17 load range C.

The diameter of the 315s is 34.4" or roughly 586 revolutions per mile IIRC

Get something long and flat and lay it on top of one tire, sticking out of the wheel/fender well. Measure from the ground up to the flat item. That will give you your tire size.

This is funny, I just now walked in after calibrating my JLUR with the Tazer and put on the exact same tires. I set the size to 34.41 and the speedo is 1 mph off. I'm running around 30 PSI, and to me that is an acceptable error.

Thanks everyone for the replies. After posting this, I found a link about Patagonias and WranglerMan said he set his KOs at 34.49. Time to hook up the Tazer and have some fun.

I used 34.5 when I put 315’s on and the speedometer is perfect.

Since it isn't hard to change, I set the tire size on the Tazer to 34.5, as mentioned above; it was better, like less than 1 MPH off.

I ended up setting it to 34.5. At 60 it fluctuates between right on to 1 mph faster than I'm going. That's close. I have my pressure at 34psi. I could maybe lower it a little and it would be even closer.
