SSKill on the live features will turn it off every time you start the car as long as the tazer is plugged in.
@CuylerTech

You are wrong on this. The Tazer JL at this point in time cannot disable "auto park". So, my earlier post here to @BostonBilly was correct.

By the way, ESS can be disabled.

Hello all. Not sure if we have any nerds in the group but I wanted to add my thoughts.

When flashing anything there is usually a flash counter. Back in the early days of jailbreaking iphones you ran the risk of getting busted if getting warranty work done. After a few revisions of the hacking software a new feature was added "reset flash counter". It became the final step when resetting a phone back to factory for warranty work.

Long story short I believe this same functionally will be added to the tazor in the near future.

I would LOVE to see that happen!

Enabling cargo cam will give you an extra button on the backup camera and settings screens.
You’ll need an actual camera and a video input cable. Should be a week or so till out.

The cargo cam input (borrowed from the RAM) can be enabled at any speed, however if you’re going over 10mph it’ll turn off after about 10-15 seconds. If you’re crawling like you would off-road, it’ll stay on.

Anyone see weird issues with their Tazer? My ESS sometimes does not get disabled. Happened twice in the two weeks I've had the Tazer.

I ended up having to unmarry and completely remove mine. My UConnect system and the info section above the steering wheel kept randomly rebooting while driving. I have emailed their support and am waiting on some insight and/or resolution.
While everything else worked fine after the 11.0.1 update, I did not want to continue its use with the reboots.
As a side note, I took my JL in for an oil change and tire rotation after having unmarried and removing the Tazer JL and not one word about it or any questions at all. Just an FYI.

This weekend I'll be trying to install my Tazer again. If I'm unable to unplug those wires, I'll be looking at Superchips new programmer. I've sent them a message asking if and how they deal with those plugs. If all the same, I'll keep trying the Taser. If they found another way around it, I'll be at a crossroads and will decide what to do.

Keep us posted on that dash rebooting. Hopefully it is an isolated situation, but that's one thing I'm a little nervous about.

I have read others complaining about the dash reboot and none of them had a Tazer mentioned in their post. Maybe it is a factory issue? I was also worried about being in the first batch of Tazer but feel confident that if there is any issues by the time I get my JL most should be found and addressed. I also got the warranty that was offered. I can't wait to start seeing what it can do for myself

Yeah, I haven't heard anybody else having a problem with the Taser, so you are right. It could be something else.

I would have agreed that it might have been a factory issue if not for the fact that it never happened prior to me installing the Taser JL and it has not happened again in the 10 days after I have removed it. It only occurred while the Tazer JL was installed and plugged in and it would reboot at least once every day and many time two or three times in a day if I was driving a lot.
My opinion is that is an isolated case with my particular Tazer JL. I think this because if it was a systemic issue we would certainly be hearing a lot more on forums like this.
