Tazer mini (used?)

I bought a second hand tazer mini (seller stated never used) but it didnt prompt me to marry device. The jeep reads to unmarry and prompting me with a key. Do I need to purchase the 50.00 code or am I missing something? The device also read doesn't recognize VIN

You will need to pay ZAutomotive, $50 for the unmarry key...

When at the ZAutomotive website ordering page for the Unmarry key ....Do read there carefully... Again read there --- in particular about the Unmarry #. You will need to use the ZAutomotive, ZPU Utility to get that "Unmarry#".

DO update the firmware on your Tazer JL with the ZPU Utility.

DO download the Tazer JL Instructions and read them over carefully BEFORE you install the Tazer JL.
